Peach Fuzzing Framework 1.0
Peach has been stable for quite some time, but I finally feel it’s time to label a release as the 1.0. I have forked the code as development on Peach 2.0 is in full swing. Several Generators have been updated and a few bugs fixed since the last release.
From here on out, only fix releases in the 1.0 branch will occur, new features will end up in the 2.0 series.

New and notable in 1.0:
- PeachShark — Convert WireShark captures into Peach Fuzzers!
- StringTokenFuzzer — Tokenizes input string and performs string mutations and fuzzing of each token in the string.
- BadDerEncodedOctetString and BadBerEncodedOctetString — For testing ASN.1 based data
- Flags2 — Better handling/fuzzing of bit flags
WMI Tool 0.1
Found myself reviewing some WMI stuff and needing to set values and see properties and all that good stuff. WMI Explorer got me partway there, but I still needed to set values. Sooo… 15min later there is a small .net tool for this. Enjoy.

- Testing server with MySQL backend
- BlockSize now works with any Generator
- Windows Popup Killer
Peach GroupSequence Shortcut
Newer versions of Peach have a nice GroupSequence shortcut that make life a bit easier.
group = GroupSequence([Group(), Group(), Group()])
generator = Block([
BadString(group[0]),
Static(': '),
BadString(group[1]),
Static('('),
BadNumbersAsString(group[2])
])

Peach 2.0, PacSec, Tokyo
PacSec 07 was a blast, thanks very much to the staff who made it possible. Tokyo is larger then life, I can’t wait to make my way back there to further explore the city.
Peach 2 has been out for a couple of weeks now, thanks everyone who has given feedback and more importantly reported bugs! I’m currently working towards getting an OS X installer out which will be followed by a Linux RPM and perhaps better information about dependencies and the like.
Also, we are nearing the next release target of 2.0.1 which have some code cleanups, better support for non-windows platforms, and of course a few new features :)
Keep that feedback coming!

Working from coffee shops has been a source of hate and discontent in my life for some time. After finally getting a spot on some small table I find the internet connection is fully saturated by hipsters logged into MySpace. VPN? Hell NO! Arrg! Waist of time. Back to the house it is, no social interaction for me today. Entering from stage left is a new hspda laptop card. I’m not convinced it will do much for me, when has the cell network ever been fast. Rumors of speed form Asia are just that to me. Hrmm… connected… speed test… BINGO! Doing over 700 down, 200 up with 3 (of 5) bars, rocking the vpn, sharing my connection out to friends, and generally happy with life in the coffee shop again.
